Tax Free

Tax FREE Mallorca

Did you know that you can claim back some of the tax on certain products since Brexit ?

Most big shops will have it advertised like Corte Inglés and C & A. When you buy perfume for example, you can register for tax free, and then you have to go to the Customer Service department to get your receipts checked.

When you go back to the airport you then have the receipt scanned that was processed by the shop / store.

If it does not pass, you would then need to confirm your purchases with the Civil Guard, so make sure you have the items you have purchased with you as they may need to see them. It is a good idea to leave enough time to do this, as there can be queues.

Either you get the cash back then, or you can post the information by completing the form with your bank details and it goes into your bank account.
